Great for DeFi, but gas fees are still a nightmare during peak times. I paid $50 for a simple Uniswap swap last bull run. Layer 2s like Arbitrum help, but onboarding new users is still too complex.

Ethereum is the backbone of DeFi and NFTs. As a developer, Iβve deployed multiple smart contracts, and despite high gas fees, the ecosystem is unmatched. The merge to PoS was a game-changer:staking ETH now earns me passive income.

Smart contracts here are rock-solid. Iβve deployed several without issues, and the documentation is excellent

I like Ethereum for its reliability, but transaction speeds lag behind some newer chains.

Ethereum remains the king of smart contract platforms for a reason. Itβs secure, decentralized, and battle-tested.

The UX for interacting with Ethereum dApps can be confusing for non-tech people.

Iβve been using Ethereum since 2017 and itβs never let me down. Sure, gas fees can spike, but the reliability of the network makes it worth it

No other blockchain comes close to Ethereumβs developer community. Every week I discover new tools and apps being built.

The switch to proof-of-stake was a game-changer. Energy consumption is drastically lower, and staking rewards have been consistent.

Transactions take too long when the network is congested. Iβve had swaps stuck for over 20 minutes.

Ethereum feels professional and battle-tested, but itβs not as beginner-friendly as it could be.

The ecosystem is amazing, but onboarding for newcomers is still a bit intimidating.

Ethereum has completely changed how I interact with finance and the web. From DeFi to NFTs, itβs been the backbone of my crypto journey. The ecosystem just keeps getting richer.

Ethereum has great ideas, but gas fees make it unusable for me as a small investor. Paying $20+ for a $10 transaction is absurd

Ethereum is still my favorite chain, but gas fees can be ridiculous during NFT drops. Layer 2 helps, but I wish scaling was faster
About Ethereum
Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source blockchain platform launched in 2015 by Vitalik Buterin and a team of developers. It was designed not just to handle digital currency like Bitcoin but also to support smart contractsβself-executing programs that run on the blockchain without intermediaries. This capability makes Ethereum the backbone for a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps), covering everything from DeFi and NFTs to gaming and identity services.
Its native cryptocurrency, Ether (ETH), is used to pay transaction fees, interact with dApps, and secure the network through staking since Ethereum transitioned from proof of work to proof of stake with the Merge in 2022. Known for its large developer community and constant upgrades, Ethereum remains central to the broader Web3 and blockchain ecosystem.
